We are studying the book of 2nd Timothy in our Sunday morning worship service and learning how it applies to our life and our church.

There are also small groups meeting in homes that explore each week's sermon in greater detail.

Join us for worship in person or through Facebook Sundays at 10:30 a.m.

SERMON  TEASER:
It has been said that “a faith that hasn’t been tested is a faith that cannot be trusted”.  Paul has just finished explaining to Timothy what a person looks like whose faith isn’t genuine.  Their life is marked by emptiness, deceit, attacks on others, and an opposite character than that of Jesus Christ.  Paul says that they have a form of godliness, but deny its power.  It is all empty religion, but no heart in relationship to Jesus Christ.  But a faith that has been proven strong has its markings too!  Paul goes on to say that Timothy has observed Paul’s faith and how it played out under extremely difficult circumstances.  He points Timothy to his own faith and reminds him that he has been taught things, but he has also become convinced of his faith, and he should hold to that.  What about you?  What lessons about following Jesus have you learned?  Now ask yourself “which lessons have I become convinced of?”  These are things that will never be shaken because we have seen the truth of what God says proven out.  As we follow Jesus, His Word will show us the way, show us when we get off the way, show us how to get back on it, and show us how to recognize his way better the next time.  Join us this Sunday as we talk about learning, and becoming convinced!
